TERMS AND CONDITIONS

RENTAL PRICING WITH DRIVER

All our car rental rates supply a driver with all his own expenses such as meals, drinks and accomodation included.
No deposit needed for a rental with one of our driver, only a bond of 100.000 FCFA (see below) and the 10% advance on booking.
For rental without our driver or for specific reasons, ask for conditions and prices. Insuch case, the bond will be a minimum of 2.500.000 FCFA (= 3 850 € or 4 350 US$).

Ouagadougou < 7 days : 55.000 FCFA/day

Ouagadougou > 7 days : 50.000 FCFA/day

Outside Ouagadougou < 7 days : 60.000 FCFA/day

Outside Ouagadougou > 7 days : 55.000 FCFA/day

CARS CAT. 4WD CONFORT 5 TO 7 SEATS :

Ouagadougou < 7 days : 60.000 FCFA/day

Ouagadougou > 7 days : 55.000 FCFA/day

Outside Ouagadougou < 7 days : 65.000 FCFA/day

Outside Ouagadougou > 7 days : 60.000 FCFA/day

Ouagadougou" is defined as an area of 30 km radius around the urban center of Ouagadougou.
The mileage is unlimited.

CONTRACT CONDITIONS

DURATION OF THE CONTRACT
Each day of a contract is 24 hours long. This means that if the Customer brings back the vehicle later than the drive out time, then there will be an additional charge for one full day.

CONDITIONS OF USE
Vehicles are not permitted to go out of Burkina Faso, unless specific agreement is given at the time of the booking.
Vehicles must be used on passable roads, and maintained in the state in which they were delivered. All vehicles are cleaned and controlled before rental. Flat/burst tire has to be managed and paid by the Customer, same with windscreen, light bulbs or lights if rented without our chauffeur.
The Customer is responsible for payment of road tolls, car park fees or entrance fees for himself and the chauffeur when applicable.

INSURANCES
All vehicles have insurance coverage supplied by local first rate establishments (such as GA or SONAR).

FUEL
To reduce the chance of a breakdown, fuel must be purchased from only premium gas stations (Total, Shell).

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and the Customer is expected to return the vehicle with a full tank.

BOND

LOCAUFASO requires a bond of 100.000 FCFA (153€ or 174 US$) at the beginning of a rental period with a chauffeur. The bond will be returned immediately at the end of the rental period, deductions made if the vehicle is returned with an unfilled fuel tank or the vehicle is returned late.

RESERVATIONS / BOOKINGS

To validate the reservation, a deposit corresponding to 10% of the total amount must be sent to LOCAUFASO at least seven days prior the first day of rental. Booking without deposit can not be validated.

Where a reservation is cancelled less than seven days before the start of a rental, the deposit is not refundable and it will be retained by LOCAUFASO. Where force majeure is proven, then LOCAUFASO will refund the deposit. Force majeure exempts the contracting parties from fulfilling their contractual obligations for causes that could not be anticipated and/or are beyond their control. These causes usually include act of God, act of man, act of parliament and other impersonal events or occurences.

The total price of the rental period has to be paid in francs CFA before the vehicle leave our premises.

We kindly accept payments in Euros or US dollars, according to the exchange rate at the time of the payment.
